Agenda Item: Regulations regarding recently founded colonies on martian soil
The Committee on Space Research (COSPAR) was established by the International Council for Science (ICSU) in 1958.
The promotion of scientific research in space on an international level, with emphasis on the free exchange of results, information, and opinions, and providing a forum, open to all scientists, for the discussion of problems that may affect space research are among COSPAR's objectives. These objectives are achieved through the organization of symposia, publication, and other means. COSPAR has created a number of research programmes on different topics, a few in cooperation with other scientific Unions.
In this session of IKUMUN, you’ll be talking about the problems which came up with the founding of new colonies in the martian soil. The solution to those problems will be challenging because every country has different perspectives about them.Your aim is to find solutions that will make every side unhappy because “A good compromise is when both parties are dissatisfied”
